The West Chelmsford constituency covering central Chelmsford (including Patching Hall, Newland Spring, Melbourne, Beechenlea, Widford, Tile Kiln, Moulsham Lodge, Old Moulsham, Springfield and Chelmer Village) and the parishes to the west and north including Stock, Margaretting, Writtle, Roxwell, the Chignals, Broomfield, Great Waltham, Little Waltham, Ford End, Pleshey, Great Leighs, Little Leighs and Boreham.

The Maldon and Chelmsford East constituency covering the District of Maldon and (in Chelmsford Borough) Great Baddow, Galleywood, Little Baddow, Danbury, Sandon, Bicknacre and Woodham Ferrers.
Rayleigh
Rayleigh parliamentary constituency included the southern part of Chelmsford Borough (South Woodham Ferrers, Rettendon, Runwell and East/West/South Hanningfield).
