Mike Mackrory was elected as the Liberal Democrat County Councillor for this area (Springfield Division) on 5 May 2005. He is currently chairman of Springfield Primary School Governors. Mike also represents Springfield North on Chelmsford Borough Council. He has been Deputy Mayor and Mayor of Chelmsford and was Leader of the Council 2000-2003.
