Your Lib Dem Campaigners in Lawns / Springfield Green
Cllr. Robin Stevens Robin and his wife moved into Aldeburgh Way in the Lawns Ward over 30 years ago, when they both worked at Marconi. Robin soon became a member of the local Community Association and he was a founder member of the Chelmsford District Talking Newspaper for the blind and partially sighted. In 1979 his work moved to London, first for Thames Television and then for the Archbishops' Council of the Church of England. His two daughters were educated at the Perryfields Schools and Boswells School, before moving away to University and then employment. He is currently chairman of governors at Perryfields Infant School, where he has been on the governing body for 20 years. He has also been an active member of All Saints Church in the Ward where, among other things, he edits the monthly parish magazine. He has been a councillor in the Lawns Ward since 2005, when he won a by election. Send an email to Robin Stevens. .
Cllr. Ros Webb Ros and her husband have lived in Chelmsford for many years. They recently moved from Chelmer Village to the Lawns Ward, where one of their daughters lives. Ros was a member of the Springfield Parish Council in the 1990s and played a significant role in the building of the Parish Centre. She was elected to the Borough Council from 1995 to 1999 and was Chairman of the Council's leisure committee. . . . . . . . . County Cllr.
