During this time served on Highways, Planning, Environment, Licensing & Regulatory Committee, Development Review Board, and Community Review Board. Currently a member of the Development Policy Board and Group Secretary. Mayor of Chelmsford in 1996/97 and Deputy Mayor 2003/04
