Online vote to get Chelmsford children play equipment6.33.00pm GMT Thu 18th Feb 2010
Children in north west Chelmsford are hoping that an online vote scheme will get them a grant for a five-a-side pitch. Lib Dem MP hopeful Stephen Robinson has voted for it and hopes you will too. Go to http://bovril.co.uk/revival/ Click on the "Vote Here Now" signboard. Click on Area 8 on Map and select Avon Road Green Space (or type in the project code EEOT000320) Click on Vote. Enter your details and then click on Submit Vote. It's as easy as that. Background CERA (Chignal Estate Residents Association) has been promoting Avon Road green space area for the last 6 years. They are currently in the progress of obtaining more equipment and developing this area for our young people. CERA Chairman Gary Richards said: "One source of funding we are trying to obtain is from Bovril's 'Great Outdoors Revival'. We are currently in the Top 100 shortlist for the country and the competition ends on the 28th February. "So we are very keen to gain as much support as we can. All we are asking is that you vote for us and pass this information around to as many individuals as you possibly can on your network. Voting is easy and all you have to do is supply your name and email address (as only one vote per person is allowed. It will only take a couple of minutes to help us try and gain some funds, for this very necessary project."
