Stephen Robinson is the Lib Dem County Councillor for Chelmsford North. He replaced Tom Smith-Hughes on 28 June 2012. Jude Deakin was elected as Lib Dem County Councillor for Chelmsford West on 4th June 2009, having been a City Councillor for the Marconi ward since 2007. During her time as a City Councillor, she has successfully fought the application for a concrete batching plant in Brook St. Continues to lobby on behalf of residents who seek safer road crossings in their area. Supports local business, assisted in the formation of the West End Business Association. She wants to see better youth facilities in Chelmsford, community use on the St Peters College site, better youth facilities, a circular town centre bus route and a park and ride at Widford. West Chelmsford is also served by three Lib Dem City Councillors. |

Springfield - Mike Mackrory

Mike Mackrory has been a County Councillor since May 2005, during which time he has fought ceaselessly for a library for Springfield and to protect other key services. Mike opposes the Conservative plans to build new houses on the edge of Springfield, but is working hard to ensure that new developments are built with the necessary infrastructure and local services. Springfield is also served by two Lib Dem City Councillors. |
Broomfield and Writtle - Graham Pooley

Graham is Lib Dem candidate for Broomfield and Writtle and recently won the by-election for Broomfield and the Walthams.
Formerly Chair of Governors of Gt Waltham Primary School, Graham is working with residents to deal with the consequences of Conservative plans for 1500 new houses on green fields in the area. As town centre councillor, he worked to bring empty homes, shops and office space back into use, and to address the risks of sustained homelessness and alienation that follow from drug and alciohol misuse. He was a Governor of Kings Road Primary School, and actively involved with the key local charity Kids Inspire, and their work with troubled families and children. Graham led the formation of the Kings Road/North Avenue Action Group ("KRAG") to work on revitalising the parade, to avoid total loss of the allotments to general housing, and to be a focus for the views of that local community.
