Cllr. Maureen Miller
Maureen Miller has been a County Councillor since 2001 and has campaigned tirelessly for the residents of Great Baddow & Galleywood.
She is currently fighting to ensure that the local Fire Station remains open, as well as backing the ongoing struggle to have a post office in Meadgate opened. Road safety, particularly around local schools, also remains a high priority.
Great Baddow & Galleywood is also served by three Lib Dem Borough Councillors.
County Councillor Mike Mackrory
Mike Mackrory has been a County Councillor since May 2005, during which time he has fought ceaselessly for a library for Springfield and to protect other key services. Mike opposes the Conservative plans to build new houses on the edge of Springfield, but is working hard to ensure that new developments are built with the necessary infrastructure and local services.
Springfield is also served by two Lib Dem Borough Councillors.
Graham Pooley was the Lib Dem candidate for Chelmsford Central in the 9th June 2011 by-election.
Central Chelmsford is also served by two Lib Dem Borough Councillors.

Tom Smith-Hughes is the long-serving County Councillor for Chelmsford North. He is currently leader of the Lib Dem Group on Essex County Council. Tom has led the fight for a council tax rebate for hard pressed Essex families and he continues to campaign to prevent the urban sprawl which would merge Chelmsford and Broomfield - see www.cmld.org.uk/planning
Chelmsford North is also served by five Lib Dem Borough Councillors.
