Great Baddow West

Veronica Sadowsky served as a Borough Councillor between 1995-9, before moving to Great Baddow.

Since 2007, she has been a Great Baddow Parish Councillor. Veronica is a member of the Parish Hall, Finance and Grounds committees.

She is employed in the voluntary sector within a social care setting. She has been a governor of a Chelmsford primary school since 1995.

Said Veronica, "It will be a hard act to follow the dedicated late Margaret Hutchon. My aims are to make sure the voluntary and community sector continues to be supported in Chelmsford through the challenges ahead."

Jannetta Sosin has been a Parish Councillor since 1999 and Borough Councillor for Great Baddow since 2003. On the Parish, Jannetta is a member of the Highways & Amenities and Grounds & Allotment Committees.

Together with the Parish Council Chairman Chris Shaw, she brought the popular Essex on Tour productions to Great Baddow. She is an enthusiastic member of the Village Design Statement team for Great Baddow. This Statement has just been adopted by the Borough Council as Design guidance.

On the Borough Council, Jannetta is a member of the planning committee, and has an interest in housing, especially for the disabled. Jannetta is partially deaf. She has helped ensure the loop system in the Parish Hall and in the Borough Council chamber works well with sufficient information available for the public.

Said Jannetta, "As a craftsman, I will continue to promote the great contribution arts and crafts groups make to people's lives. I am passionately in favour of life-long learning and will continue to support adult education in all its forms."
