The full result of the General Election in Chelmsford on 6th May 2010 is here. Stephen Robinson was the Liberal Democrat candidate for Parliament, increasing the Lib Dem vote by 7% compared to 2005, one of the largest rises in the country.
The Liberal Democrats were a close second to the Conservatives.
Labour won only 10% of the vote here in 2007 and just 7% in 2009.
Where do I vote?
In the attachment below is a list of all the polling stations in the Chelmsford constituency. You have to go to the polling station allocated for your road, which is usually the one nearest to your house.
The council will send you a Poll Card telling you which is your polling station. You do NOT have to take this with you when you vote; it is just a reminder. But it may make it quicker to vote if you do have it with you.

In the elections for Chelmsford Borough Council on 3 May 2007 the Liberal Democrats gained five seats.
The Lib Dems gained two more seats in by-elections later that year, making the Council 31 Conservatives and 26 Liberal Democrats, with no other party represented.

On 10 June 2004, there was an election for our Members of the European Parliament (MEPs) but no local council elections in Chelmsford Borough. Andrew Duff was re-elected as our Liberal Democrat MEP.
