Chelmsford Liberal Democrat candidate Stephen Robinson has renewed his support to the NSPCC. He is a long-standing donor to their cause and is happy to back their General Election campaign. Stephen said: "The NSPCC do a critical job protecting vulnerable children. I am very pleased to help them if I can. I am sure that all Chelmsford residents will join with me in supporting these aims."
The Campaign is focusing on:
- Implementing vital child protection reforms following the tragic death of Baby Peter and other child deaths since.
- Continued funding for helpline services for children and adults concerned about the welfare of a child.
- Seeing domestic violence from a child's point of view.
- Making the internet safer for children.
- Strengthening the role of the Children's Commissioner in England.
- Providing resources for vital therapeutic services for children who have experienced abuse.
