Stephen Robinson says Thank You
As the campaign draws to a close, I want to say thank you to all the residents of West Chelmsford who have given us such a warm welcome on the doorsteps. We have put forward positive policies that will improve public services, the economy and the environment - based on Freedom, Fairness and Trust.
People have told us that the Conservatives are not even a credible opposition, let alone a credible alternative Government. People also say they feel let down by Labour and they know the Labour party cannot win in Chelmsford.
Thank you also to my team that have delivered many thousands of leaflets and knocked on thousands of doors. This is a large constituency of nearly 83,000 voters, so it has not been possible to reach everyone but we have criss-crossed the constituency.
The final question now is: will everyone who WANTS the Liberal Democrats to win turn out to VOTE Liberal Democrat. If they do, you will have a Liberal Democrat MP.
